Developmental EditStarting at $600--rates vary depending on manuscript length and complexity A developmental edit is perfect for a completed manuscript that you feel needs feedback on the literary components. You're looking for someone to help you see the content-related holes that you've missed. We all know that sometimes you're too close to your manuscript to see what really needs your time and effort in your final revisions. Dana is here to help! With a developmental edit, you'll receive an editorial letter which will cover big picture topics: structure, characterization, voice, plot, setting, and pacing. This does not include line editing; this letter provides you with editorial feedback to guide you towards getting your manuscript agent- or editor-ready. |
